£19 million for THAT?!

So, a giant 18th-century Chinese silk scroll painting of a military troop review has been sold at auction for more than £19 million in France.
Seriously? If I had the rights to show this piece I would show it and I guarentee nobody would pay 19 pence for it let alone in the millions mark! My guess is that most people in France have very bare walls and one person in particular must have been very desperate for a bit of colour on their walls!
Ikea is cheap enough for brightening up your home without paying £19 million for a picture of a badly drawn gang of 10 henchmen stood behind an angry looking man in white. Sexually frustrated perhaps? Even so this never justifies this trash especially considering I have a great poster that covers my wall from HMV which cost less than £10, and is a conversation starter as it shows all the great rappers past and present which I am constantly being asked 'can I name them all'. All you have to ask about that £19 million rated picture is "What drugs are you on?"
